Sixteen Polish artists show work that takes shape at the borders of perception. They follow no single movement or medium; each gives material form to personal experiences, observations and visions of what might come to pass, within a European background that probes the essence of human emotion. The Rome stop follows presentations in Tokyo, Prague, Vienna and, most recently, Montmartre in Paris. It is part of Rome Art Week 2026. Buscaglia’s work has moved from oil paintings dense with color and mixed materials toward what the text calls “scarnificazione”: reducing a painting to its essentials. She works on canvas, linen and jute, lightening the support by cutting into warp and weft, with or without a ground and sometimes with only a faint shadow of color. The text, by Anita Mollo, likens the approach to body art, with the canvas standing in for the body. The show is part of Rome Art Week (RAW 2026).
