# Pablo Picasso: *Pablo Picasso au prisme de « Cahiers d'art »*

Oct 6, 2026 – Jan 3, 2027 · on view · Salle-dossier

- Fri, Oct 23, 2026: Conversation with Cécile Debray, Johan Popelard and Staffan Ahrenberg, 11 am–12:30 pm, followed by a book signing of Cahiers d’Art: 100 years of modernism

More than thirty works by Picasso and others, most of them reproduced in the pages of the journal Cahiers d’Art.

Marking the centenary of Cahiers d’Art, founded in 1926 by Christian Zervos, this small dossier show recalls the journal’s visual world and its close ties to Picasso, to whom it devoted dozens of articles until the late 1950s.

Picasso’s works are set beside drawings and paintings by other artists, from the Douanier Rousseau to Miró, Dalí and Max Ernst, tracing the journal’s Cubist lineage of Surrealism and its Surrealist rereading of Cubism.
