### Arlene Shechet: *Kind of Blue*

Recent sculptures in clay and other materials, colored in pastel blues, yellows and oranges, in Galerie Lelong’s first exhibition of Shechet’s work.

Shechet leaves fingerprints, seams, drips, cracks and firing marks visible, and her pieces lean, balance and hang as if caught mid-movement. The show includes Touching Ground, a recent series of irregular rectangular frames holding modeled and cut clay forms, two of them jutting from the wall on steel supports; Sometimes a Bird (2025) at the entrance; and Magic Mountain (2026), a large painted sculpture to walk around. The title nods to the Miles Davis album.

### Mamma Andersson, Nalini Malani and Alison Saar: *Estampes choisies*

Prints by Mamma Andersson, Nalini Malani and Alison Saar, three artists from three continents whose work centers on the human figure.

A selection of prints by the Swedish painter Mamma Andersson, Nalini Malani, who works between Mumbai and Amsterdam, and the Los Angeles–born sculptor Alison Saar. Among them are Andersson’s Morgon and Madame, Malani’s My speech is silence, my song the scream of the world, and Saar’s La Curandera and Hot Comb Haint: Mona.
