# Ligia Dias: *Ligne de désir* Nov 7 – Dec 24, 2026 · coming up · À la librairie - Sat, Nov 7, 2026: Opening of the installation, 4–9 pm An in-situ installation of found and handmade objects hung from a ceiling chain, with a new series of jewellery on sale in the bookshop. Ligia Dias’s installation runs from the entrance bookshop to the exhibition spaces. A lifting chain hangs from the ceiling of the passage, which lowers as visitors move inward, and carries objects the artist found or made. It recalls immersive environments by Sonia Delaunay and Marcel Duchamp. Dias questions how objects are interpreted and ranked. Part of the work is a new series of jewellery that visitors can buy in the bookshop. The opening coincides with Chris Lovasoa Kauffmann’s show Mammoth Steps.
