# *Sophia Bounou and Paul McDowall* Two-person exhibition · Oct 22 – Nov 15, 2026 · coming up Sophia Bounou and Paul McDowall - Thu, Oct 22, 2026: Opening, 6–8 pm Two consecutive two-week solo shows of paintings by Sophia Bounou and Paul McDowall, presented by London’s Blond Contemporary. Blond Contemporary of London takes over the Tribeca space for the month, giving two of its New York-based artists a two-week solo show each. Sophia Bounou, a French-Moroccan painter, shows instinctive, colorful canvases that turn the people, relationships and experiences around her into densely layered scenes. Paul McDowall follows with uncanny paintings of pools at night, built around their stillness. Bounou’s show runs October 22 – November 1 and McDowall’s November 5–15.
