Each work serves as an altar honoring ancestors and mourning lives lost to state violence, while pointing to new traditions of collective care.

It is the fifth edition of the ¡Te Amo Porque S.O.S. Pueblo! project, organized by guest curator Guadalupe Ambrosio as a Community Partnership Exhibition alongside the museum’s Día de Muertos Community Ofrenda.
