# Tauba Auerbach: *Zephyr, Zephyr* Sep 10 – Oct 24, 2026 · on view · 521 West 21st Street New works by Tauba Auerbach on currents and turbulence: dot paintings of foam seen under a microscope, heat-sensitive photographs of water, chimes and moving sculptures. In the new paintings, hand-painted dots on sprayed panels, hung slightly off the wall, build up images of liquid foam seen under a microscope, this time looking at how it catches light rather than at its structure. Small, mostly black-and-white photographs made with a heat-sensitive camera attachment trace hot and cold currents in water. Glass chimes hang around the gallery, and paired sculptures slowly rotate.
