# Eric N. Mack: *You Red The Shirt Off My Back* Sep 10 – Oct 24, 2026 · on view · 534 West 21st Street Eric N. Mack’s second show with the gallery: paintings made from cut, dyed and pinned fabric, on the wall, free-standing and hung from the ceiling. Mack uses new and vintage textiles and clothes from his own archive and from fabric and thrift stores, which he cuts and tears, dyes, stitches, glues and pins into abstract compositions. Some are wrapped around metal stretchers or pinned to the wall; others meet custom stainless-steel armatures he calls “hybrid readymade structures.” Sheer mesh and printed fabric hanging from the ceiling at the center of the room block the view and route visitors around them.
