# Tschabalala Self: *Art Lovers* From Mar 21, 2026 · on view · Facade A new work for the museum’s facade showing a couple embracing, echoing the point where its two buildings meet. Made for the museum’s Facade Sculpture Program, Self’s work pictures two lovers in an embrace, echoing the “kiss point” where the SANAA-designed building meets the new OMA-designed wing. It can be seen from the Bowery and from Prince Street. The work treats the museum and its public surroundings as settings for personal connection, a portrait of contemporary city life. It is curated by Massimiliano Gioni and Madeline Weisburg.
