The show gathers four artists whose work pulls symbols away from their meanings. Richard Aldrich shows paintings in oil and wax; Steffani Jemison, works in silvered glass and graphite and her 2025 video Bridge; Helen Marten, wall assemblages of painted fabric, drawings, cast aluminum and wood; and Walter Price, new paintings in acrylic and gesso. Marten’s new essay, also titled ABC Powder, accompanies the show.
