# Wendy Gittler: *Tempis Fugit* Oct 28 – Nov 21, 2026 · coming up - Thu, Nov 5, 2026: Opening reception, 6–8 pm Paintings, drawings and collages that look for visual signs of passing time, with figures that shift into mythological variations. Gittler’s paintings, drawings and collages search for visual equivalents of fleeting time, ones that hold past and present together. She says she never feels finished with a work and often starts over, finding that space and form shift in ways she can’t foresee. In that process some figures become variations on mythological themes, and different time spans merge into new structures and relationships.
