# EJ Hauser: *Sun Water Sky* Oct 16 – Nov 14, 2026 · coming up - Fri, Oct 16, 2026: Opening reception, 6–8 pm New small-scale paintings and drawings-based works on stars, water, mountains and waves, balancing abstraction and representation. Hauser’s paintings begin as drawings and move between abstraction and representation, repeating motifs such as stars, planets, mountains, ocean waves, vessels, medicine bottles and letterforms. Most are intimate in scale and meant for close looking. Stars Reflected stems from waking in the studio to a creek mirroring the night sky, and silver paint in works like Minnows Shimmer and Lilac Waves acts as a reflective surface. This is Hauser’s fourth solo exhibition at the gallery.
