Opening soon

A site-responsive installation, embroideries, drawings and video honouring queer artists and networks in London and beyond.

Lee’s first solo exhibition in the UK takes London’s queer networks as its starting point. The Main Gallery holds a large installation with new drawings and embroideries, including items foraged from Prospect Cottage, London Lighthouse, Hampstead Heath and Burgess Park. The Fire Station galleries add embroideries, drawings, video and archival material.

The work refers to Hamad Butt, Derek Jarman, Martin Wong and José Leonilson, and to Gideon Mendel’s photographs The Ward (1993) of AIDS patients. The show is curated by the 2026 New Curators fellows.
