# Camilla Perkins: *The Stillness of the Garden* Nov 6 – 28, 2026 · coming up · Project Room - Thu, Nov 5, 2026: Private view New densely patterned, brightly coloured paintings of gardens, figures at rest and sunlit spaces, made from memory. Painted after the end of summer, these works look back to warmer months: gardens in full bloom, resting figures and rooms filled with sunlight. Perkins works from memory and imagination rather than specific places, so scenes feel familiar yet slightly removed from reality. Her style draws on vintage textiles and childhood picture books, with saturated colour, heavy pattern and loose brushwork that lets figures, foliage and interiors merge. It is her third solo exhibition with the gallery.
