### Cat Spilman: *Hold on Tight*

Nov 6 – 28, 2026 · coming up

- Thu, Nov 5, 2026: Private view

New abstract paintings in greens and blues, with oil pastel lines, on nature, uncertainty and human connection.

Spilman returns to colour in this new body of paintings, using recurring greens and blues to address nature, instability and the pull toward real-life connection in an increasingly computerised age. Broad, continuous gestures cross the canvas, interrupted and anchored by oil pastel lines and recurring points.

The work remains autobiographical but widens its view toward shared experience, and it looks for moments of joy amid uncertainty. It is her fifth solo exhibition with the gallery.

### Camilla Perkins: *The Stillness of the Garden*

Nov 6 – 28, 2026 · coming up · Project Room

- Thu, Nov 5, 2026: Private view

New densely patterned, brightly coloured paintings of gardens, figures at rest and sunlit spaces, made from memory.

Painted after the end of summer, these works look back to warmer months: gardens in full bloom, resting figures and rooms filled with sunlight. Perkins works from memory and imagination rather than specific places, so scenes feel familiar yet slightly removed from reality.

Her style draws on vintage textiles and childhood picture books, with saturated colour, heavy pattern and loose brushwork that lets figures, foliage and interiors merge. It is her third solo exhibition with the gallery.
