# *Dana Awartani* Nov 19, 2026 – Feb 13, 2027 · coming up A new exhibition by Dana Awartani, whose craft-based work mends damage to places destroyed by war and colonialism. Awartani follows her presentation for Saudi Arabia at the 2026 Venice Biennale with a new show in London. Rooted in traditional craft, her work responds to the destruction of monuments and heritage around the world. She often darns holes in her pieces, so that each puncture stands for a place violated by war, colonialism or terror, and each repair for care over replacement.
