New paintings by Haroun Hayward shown with historic works by Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, from the 1950s to today.

The show sets new paintings by Hayward beside historic works by Barns-Graham, creating a conversation across seven decades. Both artists treat painting as a way of reconfiguring the visible world, drawing on landscape, memory, movement and sensation to build personal visual languages.

It coincides with Barns-Graham’s retrospective at Tate St Ives, opening in late October 2026, and follows Hayward’s solo show Path Through Trees at Pallant House Gallery.
