# Bianca Raffaella: *Between Heartbeats*

Nov 20, 2026 – Jan 2, 2027 · coming up

A new series of paintings reflecting on new motherhood, identity and metamorphosis.

Raffaella is known for figurative and floral paintings that turn her perceptual experience into ethereal marks and layered surfaces. In this new series she turns to her own experience of new motherhood, widening it into a broader inquiry into identity and metamorphosis.

The body of work is the subject of a 2026 BBC World Service In the Studio audio documentary, A World of Blurred Vision, produced by Sahar Zand.
