## Exhibitions

### Timur Si-Qin: *Pristine, Part I*

Oct 12 – Nov 14, 2026 · on view, just opened

New sculptures of roots, trunks, leaves and other plant forms drawn from species of the Peruvian Amazon.

Si-Qin made these sculptures after observing and documenting particular plant species in the Peruvian Amazon, carrying those encounters with individual plants and sacred places into new forms. The show argues that intact wilderness still exists, and that it is a living reality, not a lost Eden.

It is the first chapter of a larger body of work, and continues the artist’s interest in a contemporary spirituality of nature. A first monograph with Albion Jeune Publishing is planned for spring 2027.

### *Heavy Metal*

Two-person exhibition · Jun 7 – Nov 19, 2026 · on view

Anthony Caro and James Capper

Welded and painted steel sculpture by Anthony Caro alongside the mobile, hydraulic sculpture of James Capper.

The show pairs seven large-scale sculptures by Anthony Caro, made from raw or block-coloured welded steel, with work by James Capper, who builds mobile machines from industrial metals and marine paint. Caro’s Vespers, Aurora and Park Avenue Series: Towards Morning span four decades.

Capper first showed a hydraulic sculpture to Caro in 2010. The presentation follows a two-artist show at Albion Jeune and is accompanied by a new book on Caro’s legacy in British sculpture.

### Ivana Bašić: *Metanoia*

Sep 16 – Nov 1, 2026 · on view

A large outdoor sculpture of concrete, glass and copper, with breathing glass vessels, shown in The Regent’s Park for Frieze Sculpture.

Metanoia reimagines Bogdan Bogdanović’s Flower Monument at Jasenovac, one of the Yugoslav Spomenik war memorials, as a kind of breathing machine. Concrete lotus-like petals rise around a copper heart that opens onto a glass core filled with dust, while suspended glass vessels inhale and exhale through race-car exhaust pipes.

The work draws on Bašić’s childhood during Yugoslavia’s collapse. It was first shown at the 14th Taipei Biennial and comes to Frieze Sculpture, curated by Fatoş Üstek, ahead of two institutional solo shows.
