Glennon, a Santa Monica artist, makes wearable sculptures from seeds, grains, broken guitar strings, phone cables and reused paper. They shrink familiar landscapes such as beaches, golf courses and floating markets, seen from above, down to the scale of jewelry. Each piece hangs in a custom plexiglass frame beside a matching painting. Her earlier solo shows were in Venice (2012) and Santa Monica (2023). Klein’s figures are drawn from the people around him: intimate portraits, couples in argument, silent groups, lone standing or moving bodies. He works in oil and acrylic on canvas, and also makes sculpture and drawings, choosing vivid or restrained palettes to suit each mood. The featured works include Survival, Painful Revenge and Maggie’s Letter, along with smaller digital painting giclées. Klein, raised in Queens and trained at Otis College of Art and Design, held his first solo show in 2018. Danzi cuts each piece of fabric freehand and assembles it into large abstract quilts with a painterly look, in which the seams read as hand-drawn lines. Her designs draw on organic shapes from the natural world, informed by her engineering degree, design study and outdoor adventures. She exhibits internationally and is a juried member of Studio Art Quilt Associates. D’Ambrosio, born in Irpinia, Italy, in 1951, trained at the Art School of Avellino and later lived in Florence and California. Her acrylic paintings treat abstraction in relation to music and are meant to stay in a constant state of change rather than reach a fixed conclusion. The works on her page include Women in Colors, Poseidonia, Middle East and Pomegranate Harvest, some made with collage, drawing on her travels in Europe, India, Africa and the Middle East.
