# *RED RED RED, Geometry of a Scar* Group exhibition · Oct 4, 2026 – Feb 21, 2027 · on view · A. Angarita Family Gallery Marina Abramović, Louise Bourgeois, Nan Goldin, Beatriz Milhazes and others Paintings, sculpture, video, textiles and installations by about 40 women artists from 20 countries, linked by the color red. Organized by MIA Art Collection, a private nonprofit that collects only women artists, the show looks at red in both abstraction and figuration, from love and passion to power, resistance, danger and violence. Works span generations, from Hilma af Klint and Gabriele Münter to contemporary artists. Invited private collectors have lent further works beyond the collection. It is MIA Art Collection’s first international museum exhibition and its first in the United States, curated by Sebastian C. Strenger.
