Free, with a timed-entry reservation. ## Exhibitions ### Tacita Dean: *FILM* Sep 18, 2026 – Feb 27, 2027 · on view Tacita Dean’s FILM, the 11-minute silent 35mm work made for Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall in 2011, in its first showing in the United States. Dean made the piece when analog film seemed close to vanishing, and it is both a tribute to the medium and its subject, projected on a towering vertical screen. She revived silent-era techniques such as glass matte painting, gate masking and in-camera superimposition, and turned an anamorphic lens on its side to double the frame’s height. Waterfalls, a street clock, a pine tree and an ostrich egg appear between sprocket holes that are part of the image. Hanneke Skerath and Mark Toscano organized it. In the Window Gallery, Ads draws on his collection of more than 250 advertisements from the 1940s to now in which artists, from Warhol, Dalí and Beuys to Marina Abramović, sell everything from McDonald’s to Dior. In the Library, his Museum of Mistakes, a roving collection of printed matter and oddities he founded in Brussels in 2013, makes a new installation beside his artist’s books.
