## Exhibitions

### Walter Dahn: *Let’s Get Married, Let’s Get Lost*

Sep 11 – Dec 19, 2026 · on view

A survey of Walter Dahn’s paintings, spray-painted and silkscreened works from 1982 to 2014, drawing on pop music and mass media.

The exhibition is the first survey of Dahn’s work since his death. It spans 1982 to 2014 and follows his shifts from raw, large-scale neo-expressionist painting to spray-painted canvases on nettle cloth, then to photography and silkscreen drawn from mass media and ethnographic museum images.

Works include Baselitz-Pop and Baechler-Blues (both 1984), shown in Kasper König’s 1984 exhibition Von hier aus, and the Ex Voto paintings of 1987, enlarged by hand from photocopies of Brazilian votive offerings.

### Jean-Luc Mylayne: *Reflection*

Sep 11 – Oct 24, 2026 · on view, closing soon

Large color photographs of birds in Texas landscapes, made between 2005 and 2008, with shifting focus and no single vantage point.

Each photograph by Mylayne, made with his partner Mylène, takes months of patient work. Most of these were conceived during a residency in Marfa, Texas, where the blue of water, sky and sometimes the birds themselves drew him. Mountain bluebirds, a nuthatch and an eastern phoebe appear, some sharp, some nearly lost in blur.

The titles give only months and year, never place or species. The show is presented during Berlin Art Week and reads the images as a meditation on the Anthropocene and on looking without dominating.

### Salvo: *La città*

Sep 11 – Oct 24, 2026 · on view, closing soon · Window space

Oil paintings of cityscapes by Salvo from the 1980s to 2010s, from quiet urban outskirts to lively, neon-lit night streets.

The presentation follows a route from the periphery to the centre of the city, and from sunset into night. Salvo reduces buildings to cubic, geometric volumes and lights them with neon signs, street lamps, a tram’s glow and a pinball machine, in translucent, saturated colour.

Sparse paintings of anonymous facades verge on abstraction, while Al cinema (1988) and Al bar (1981) fill with figures and vehicles. Felt-pen and ballpoint drawings are also shown. Salvo turned to painting in 1973, and the show draws on de Chirico, Sironi and Carrà.

### Elizabeth Warfel: *Escapist Tendencies*

Nov 14 – Dec 19, 2026 · coming up · Window space

- Fri, Nov 13, 2026: Public reception, 6–9 pm

Oil paintings of crowded bars, pool halls, casinos and clubs, framed by arches and doorways.

Warfel, born in 1997, paints the busy interiors of nightlife venues, places where one can be absorbed into a crowd and shed identity markers. Arches and entryways frame glimpsed spaces beyond, building on the idea of the threshold.

No phone appears in the pictures, but its presence is felt in blurred figures and warped walls, as digital and physical space merge. The show is staged in the Berlin gallery’s Window space.

### Thomas Scheibitz: *Figuren unter Einfluss*

Nov 14 – Dec 19, 2026 · coming up

- Fri, Nov 13, 2026: Public reception, 6–9 pm

New paintings and sculptures, with historical works, built around the figure as a loose, half-abstract presence.

Scheibitz treats the figure as a genre signal rather than a portrait of anyone. Shapes gather into something like a face or body, familiar yet strange: spindly zoomorphic silhouettes, biomorphic assemblages between machine and man, and features reduced to basic geometry, set among color fields and architectonic forms.

The show continues a long-running theme in his work, the relationship of the individual to reality and how visual messages shape it.
