# Rachel Garrard: *Manifestations in the Light* Nov 13, 2026 – Jan 24, 2027 · coming up · Nave - Thu, Nov 12, 2026: Opening, 6–8 pm Paintings made from hand-ground natural pigments on raw linen, shown in the Nave of St. Agnes. This is Garrard’s second exhibition with the gallery. Her paintings are built from natural substances such as quartz, ash and rock powder that she collects and grinds by hand, then layers in translucent washes on raw linen. The pigment records the place it came from. Her wider practice also includes sculpture, sound, installation and video, and treats the border between the physical and the ephemeral as porous.
