Gerd RohlingDas Licht der Welt
Three large installations by Berlin artist Gerd Rohling, built largely from urban found materials.
Rohling’s room-filling installations, objects and public interventions often start from things found in the city, linking observations of urban society with visions of a global community. The show presents three central installations, staged like theater sets, that play on the border between art and life with a radical material aesthetic and a light irony.
It is his large solo exhibition at the museum, curated by Elisa Tamaschke.
